We know we’re a bit tiresome and we’ve said it quite a few times already, but our love and appreciation for the great outdoors continues to increase.
We believe respecting, looking after and admiring nature should be part of everyone’s daily existence.
This is probably one of the reasons why we decided to head to Japan when we did; to enjoy one of nature’s greatest spectacles: the hanami.
Literally speaking, hanami means looking at flowers and this is what this Japanese tradition is all about: admiring the cherry blossom.
The whole city is beautiful to look at, but the Meguro river and the gardens in the Imperial Palace are on a whole different level.
Everything is transformed and dressed in white and pink, and the contrast with its natural colours, is breathtaking.
