Rainy Day in Tokyo

Our first day in Tokyo was super rainy, with the kind of rain drops that stay on your glasses and refresh your face. We were full of beans on our first day in the city, we had so much energy and were really excited. We spent the day walking around one of our favourite areas: Omotesando.
We woke up on the 16th floor of Hotel Celestine. Many of you asked us about the hotel on Instagram or Twitter so we thought we’d tell you more. We stayed at the hotel when we visited Japan last year and we decided to come back because it was really good quality and reasonably priced and let’s not kid ourselves, because of the views! It’s 20 minutes away from Tokyo station, which is were you can get the Yamamote train line using your Japan Rail Pass to visit the country.

So we headed to Omotesando to take a look around the shops and visit our new favourite cafe: Bread & Espresso. The sandwiches are delicious and the coffee is great, so this place has certainly been one of our must-go places in Tokyo.
We recommend it 100%! The French Toast are delicious, but they only serve them during a specific time slot and they run out quite quickly.

We also went to Actus (Map here) in Toyama, a decor shop which sells some amazing stuff and houses a unique space devoted to Ouur, the lifestyle brand launched by Kinfolk magazine. We bought some accessories for our work tables and a few clothes.
