Volkshotel — Cup of Couple

We’ve been in so many hotels during our life, but Volkshotel in Amsterdam is without doubt the one with more personality. Placed in a building that used to be a local newspaper office, is the perfect place to eat, sleep, read, work, enjoy the city views from the restaurant, or even better, from the jacuzzi. One of the things that makes this hotel so special are the rooms.

They are all different and you can actually feel like you are not in Amsterdam,

looks like you are staying in another part of the world. We have to say that we love to improvise, that’s why we didn’t plan this trip with much time in advance, and as a result we had to change our room a couple of times. Honestly we don’t know which one is our favorite: Bathing Bikou, minimalist with a big japanese bath in the middle of the room, or Cabin in the woods, the tree house we always wanted without bugs. We definitely are coming back to this wellness theme park

Hemos estado en muchos hoteles en nuestra vida pero Volkshotel en Amsterdam es, sin duda, el que más personalidad tiene. Ubicado en la sede de un antiguo periodico local, el hotel es un sitio perfecto si quieres comer, trabajar, dormir, bailar o disfrutar de vistas de toda la ciudad desde el restaurante o, mejor aún, desde un jacuzzi. Uno de los puntos fuertes del hotel son sus habitaciones especiales, espacios completamente diferentes entre sí y

que te harán creer que estás en cualquier otra parte del mundo sin salir de Amsterdam.

Nosotros somos muy de improvisar y al planear el viaje con poco tiempo de antelación tuvimos que cambiar de habitación en un par de ocasiones. Y, sinceramente, no sabríamos decirte cual es nuestra favorita: Bathing Bikou, minimalista y con una bañera japonesa enorme en mitad de la habitación, o Cabin in the woods, la casa en el árbol que siempre quisimos tener sin insectos alrededor. Volveremos a este parque temático del bienestar
